About
Ting Li Lim is a sound designer, mixer and foley artist and her foray into sound for films started in 2004. Her last feature film as sound designer on SANDCASTLE premiered in-competition at the Cannes Film Festival’s International Critics’ Week in 2010. Her works have also been presented at film festivals such as Berlin, Rotterdam, Clemont Ferrand and Pusan. She won the Best Soundtrack award in the 1st Singapore Short Film Awards in 2009 and in 2010, she was one of the two sound designers selected to attend the Asian Film Academy headed by Abbas Kiarostami in the Pusan International Film Festival. She is currently based in the United Kingdom, pursuing her postgraduate studies in Sound Design in the National Film & Television School.
